Instructions
  1. Wash the dried lotus seeds;
  2. Soak the red beans for 8 hours and the dried lily bulbs for 1 hour;
  3. Rinse the rice;
  4. Add 1750 ml water in a big pot to boil; add all the ingredients (except the sugar extract) to boil with high heat, turn to medium heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add the winter-melon sugar extract and cook for another 5 minutes to finish.
